We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with children ranging from early childhood through adolescence at our small boutique private practice! The ideal candidate will be dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families, while working mostly independently. Therapy will take place in our dedicated office space with access to toys and assessment materials. Key responsibilities will include providing speech-language therapy services to pediatric clients with a variety of speech and language disorders, including speech sound disorders, language delays, social communication difficulties, and pediatric feeding disorders. This is starting as a part-time position, with the opportunity to grow your caseload if you would like. We want this to be a job YOU love and that works with your schedule, so you decide how many clients you see in a day and when you take your breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language therapy services to pediatric clients with a variety of speech and language disorders, including speech sound disorders, language delays, social communication difficulties, and pediatric feeding disorders.

Conduct initial evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations of clients’ speech and language skills.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.

Implement evidence-based therapy techniques and strategies to address clients’ specific needs.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes.

Provide education and guidance to families on strategies to support their child’s communication development.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Current Iowa state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain licensure).

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred not required.

Experience working with pediatric clients, especially in a private practice setting, is highly preferred.

Knowledge of a wide range of speech and language disorders, including articulation, language delays, fluency, social communication, and more.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both children and adults.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Schedule & Compensation:

This is a part-time position, with flexibility in hours. Need availability Mondays or Fridays to start. Minimum caseload of 10 clients or 5 treatment hours.

All 30 minute sessions and the ability to make your own schedule

Pay per visit contract starting at $38/session or $76/hour

Not paid for cancellations
-
Opportunities for additional hours as the caseload grows.
