Your Role

As a pediatric SLP, you will provide thoughtful, evidence-based services to children with a range of communication and feeding needs, including speech sound disorders, language delays, social communication difficulties, and pediatric feeding disorders.

 

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing engaging, individualized speech-language therapy services for pediatric clients

• Completing initial evaluations, standardized and informal assessments, and re-evaluations

• Developing treatment plans that reflect each child’s strengths, needs, and family goals

• Implementing evidence-based therapy strategies

• Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation and progress notes

• Partnering with families by providing practical education and strategies to support communication development at home

 

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Current Iowa SLP license or eligibility for Iowa licensure

• CCC-SLP preferred but not required

• Pediatric experience, particularly in private practice, is highly preferred

• Familiarity with articulation, language, fluency, social communication, and pediatric feeding needs

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with children, caregivers, and colleagues

• A compassionate, patient, and child-centered approach

• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
