Speech Therapy
We offer comprehensive speech evaluations and therapy services including articulation, early language development, social skills, and fluency (stuttering). Therapy includes play-based activities to make therapy engaging for children, individualized treatment plans that address specific needs and strengths, and collaborating with families and other professionals to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
Feeding Therapy
We offer comprehensive feeding evaluations and feeding therapy addressing bottle feeding, transition to solids, oral motor skills, picky eating, and sensory feeding difficulties. We adopt a responsive feeding approach that makes mealtime fun and engaging while helping children become confident and happy eaters.
Parent Coaching
Our parent coaching program is designed to empower families with the knowledge and tools they need to help their child grow. Through regular coaching sessions, we equip parents with effective communication or feeding techniques, language-stimulating activities, and practical resources to create a nurturing environment at home. We believe that strong collaboration between parents and professionals is crucial for maximizing a child's progress, and our parent coaching services aim to strengthen that partnership.
Thumb Sucking Elimination
Thumb sucking is a natural reflex for infants, but when it persists beyond a certain age, it can lead to dental issues, speech difficulties, and social challenges. We are certified in the Thumbs Up! approach from Simon Says myofunctional therapy program. Our approach is gentle and understanding, focusing on positive reinforcement, encouragement, and age-appropriate activities to redirect the habit. Watch your child kick their thumb-sucking habit in just one month!
Group Therapy
Our group therapy sessions are specifically designed for individuals who may benefit from practicing their speech and language skills in a social context. Through interactive activities and targeted exercises, participants can practice their speech in a supportive environment while receiving valuable feedback and guidance from both the therapist and their peers. The group dynamic fosters confidence, encourages peer modeling, and facilitates natural conversation, helping individuals develop effective communication strategies and build connections with others who share similar challenges.
How It Works

Intake
Complete the intake process including a thorough medical history and practice policies in order to schedule an evaluation. During this time, you may provide us with a recent evaluation in order to move forward with treatment. If you have any questions, Kenzie is available for a free phone consultation at 515-216-0091.

Evaluation
During your initial appointment, we will go over your child's background history and your concerns. We will then complete a thorough assessment of your child's skills and provide recommendations for goals and develop a personalized plan of care.

Treatment
During your scheduled weekly sessions, our speech and feeding therapy services will be tailored to your child's unique needs with a personalized approach to therapy. We work closely with families to support carryover at home and maximize progress.
